An independent business run by Alec Savitsky M.Eng which provides professional engineering services for narrowboat owners. Based in Northamptonshire I am able to offer this service over most of the UK canal network.
As a qualified marine engineer I have gained extensive experience in narrowboat engineering while working at boatyards across the Midlands. All work is carried out to the highest standard, I hold full public liability insurance for all works.
Recent projects include the conversion of a narrowboat from diesel to electric, installing a new Beta 43 into a new narrowboat shell, the fitting of bow thrusters as well as general servicing and repairs.
